Halftones
You can select the method for producing halftones when printing.
IMPORTANT
For information on the modes which cannot be set in combination with this mode, see "Unavailable Combination of Functions (Print Function for PDF Files)" and "Unavailable Combination of Functions (Print Function for TIFF/JPEG Files)."
This mode is only available for printing files stored in the Advanced Space, Network, and Memory Media.
This mode can be used for printing a JPEG, TIFF, or PDF file.
NOTE
As an example, the procedure to select and print a file stored in the Advanced Space is explained in this section.

1.
Select the desired Space.
2.
Display the level for the file you want to print.
3.
Select the file that you want to print → press [Print] → [Options].
4.
Press [Halftones].
5.
Select the desired method of producing halftones.
When printing a PDF file, you can select the method for producing halftones for the text, graphics, and images.
When printing a JPEG or TIFF file, you can select the method for producing halftones for the images.
[Resolution]:
Enables you to perform fine printing to enhance the lines of text data, etc. Suitable for printing data with text and fine lines, etc.
[Gradation]:
Enables you to print with both smooth gradation and quality lines. Suitable for printing diagrams and graphs that use gradations.
[High Resolution]:
Enables you to perform even finer printing than [Resolution], but with slightly less stable texture. Suitable for printing data with text and fine lines or sharply printing the lines of CAD data.
