Favorite Settings Buttons
You can register up to 18 combinations of favorite send settings. They can be assigned names and comments for increased convenience. This feature is useful for storing frequently used send settings.
NOTE
The settings stored in the favorite settings buttons are not deleted, even if the power is turned OFF.
If an address included in a favorite settings button is deleted from the address book, it is also deleted from the settings registered in the favorite settings button.

Press  → [Function Settings] → [Send] →[Common Settings].
If you are registering the favorite settings button, you must first specify the settings.
To store a favorite settings button:
Press [Register Favorite Settings].
Check the contents of the settings → press [Next].
Select the favorite settings button ([M1] to [M18]) to register → press [Next].
Enter a name and comment for the button, if necessary.
Press [OK].
If Show Comment is set to 'On', the stored comments are displayed after you press [Favorite Settings] on the Scan and Send screen.
NOTE
Once favorite settings button is registered, you can assign a name to the favorite settings button by pressing [Rename].
To register a name and comment for a favorite settings button:
Press [Edit Favorite Settings].
Select the favorite settings button ([M1] to [M18]) to register a name and comment.
Press [Rename].
NOTE
If [Check Content] is pressed, the registered settings are displayed.
You can also name keys with no favorite settings stored in them.
Press [Name] → enter a name → press [OK].
NOTE
If you press [OK] without entering any characters, the key name reverts to its current name (default M1 to M18).
Press [Comment] → enter a comment → press [OK].
To delete a favorite settings button:
Press [Edit Favorite Settings].
Select a favorite settings button ([M1] to [M18]) to delete.
Press [Delete].
IMPORTANT
Make sure to check the settings first before deleting them.
Press [Yes].
NOTE
The name and comment for favorite settings buttons are not deleted. To change the name and comment, see "To register a name and comment for a favorite settings button:."
