The Superimpose Image mode enables you to superimpose a previously scanned image which has been stored in the memory of the machine (image form) on the output.

To use the Superimpose Image mode, the image form must be stored in the machine beforehand. (See "Image Form.")
If you specify the Form Composition mode with the Cascade Copy mode, it is necessary to assign the same name to the stored image form in both this machine and the cascade copy printer beforehand. If the assigned image form name in this machine is not set in the cascade copy printer, the job is cancelled. If multiple image forms with the same assigned name are stored in the cascade copy printer, different images may be used for Form Composition.
Copy modes other than the Shift or Mirror Image mode can only be used for copying images, and not for stored image forms.
Up to 100 image forms can be stored. However, this number varies depending on the free space of the hard disk.
For the Mail Box function, the Superimpose Image mode cannot be used with documents whose resolution is other than 600 x 600 dpi.
Printing performance may not be optimal in the Superimpose Image mode, depending on the content of the original and image form.

Place your originals → press [Options] → [Superimpose Image].

Press [Set] for the side of the paper you want to superimpose.

[Back Side] can only be selected for two-sided original.
To specify the same settings as the front side for the back side, press [Same as Front Side].

Select the image form to be superimposed over the original → press [OK].
To check images stored as forms, press [Check Print] to print a sample of the image.
Press [Details] to display the detailed information of the image form.
Select the paper size → press [Start Copying].
Press [Stop] to cancel the sample print.

Press [OK].
