You can set whether to allow the recipient machine to send MDN (Mail Delivery Notification) mail directly to the IP address of the sending machine without going via a mail server.

Press 
→ [Function Settings] → [Send] →[E-Mail/I-Fax Settings] → [Allow MDN Not via Server].
→ [Function Settings] → [Send] →[E-Mail/I-Fax Settings] → [Allow MDN Not via Server].2.
Select [On] or [Off] → press [OK].
