You can set whether to detect and prevent streaks when scanning documents.

Press 
→ [Function Settings] → [Common] → [Scan Settings] → [Streak Prevention].

Select [On] or [Off] → press [OK].

When [On] is selected, extremely thin lines may be detected as streaks.
